Five Relic Letters of Dayun Temple1964 65438+In February, a set of relic containers was unearthed in the Taki Underground Palace of Dayun Temple in the Tang Dynasty, which was discovered in Shuiquan Temple, Chengguan Town, Jingchuan County, Gansu Province. ***5 pieces, consisting of stone letters, copper boxes, silver coffins, gold coffins and glass relic bottles, nested together. The outermost layer is Shixin. In the first year of Sui Renshou (60 1), Emperor Wendi of Sui ordered that 14 Buddhist bone relics be sent to the underground palace of xingguo temple (now Dayun Temple) in Jingzhou for support. During the period of Wu Zetian, the Buddhist sutra "Dayun Sutra" containing the story of a woman claiming to be emperor was forged. "There is a Dayun Temple in each of the two capitals, and the scriptures are collected for the monks to give explanations." Under this political background, Jingzhou built the Dayun Temple in Jingzhou on the site of Daxing National Temple in Sui Dynasty. When we started construction, we found the relics provided by the Sui Dynasty. Wu Zetian thought it was a good omen, so she asked someone to carefully make a gold coffin, a silver comb and a copper box, put 14 Buddhist bone relics in a glass bottle, and put them in a stone letter to hide in the underground palace to build a tower and a temple.
4. Gold-plated Silver Plate in East Rome1In the autumn of 988, a farmer in the east street of Benshan Village, north beach Township, Jingyuan County, Gansu Province, found a gold-plated silver plate with an inscription in nonsense. Most scholars at home and abroad judge this young man with a stick as Dionysus in Greek mythology. The twelve heads listed in the middle circle are considered to be the twelve gods of Olympus in Greek mythology, including the sun god and the moon god; Some people think it's the Dionysus family. In ancient Greek religious stories, Dionysus was a natural god symbolizing harvest and plants, especially Dionysus. That is, in the 4th-5th century, it was equivalent to the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties in China. The Eastern Roman Empire maintained friendly exchanges with China in the early period. According to Wei Shu, the Eastern Roman Empire sent delegations to visit the Northern Wei Dynasty three times.

Lang Shude said that one opinion is that tattoos are the real patterns of giant salamander; Some scholars have analyzed that the pattern is a human head snake, which may be the image of Fu. Some people think that it is the original picture of a dragon. The face of the giant fish looks like a human figure, with a god in its eyes and a curled body.
