Analysis of sichuan dialect.
Sichuan dialect before the Song Dynasty is completely different from Sichuan dialect since the Yuan Dynasty. According to the literature of Song Dynasty, scholars at that time divided Sichuan dialect into administrative divisions in northwest Sichuan.
Dialects are collectively called "Spanish" and belong to the same phonetic family. The two invasions of the northern nationalities by Mongols and Jurchen brought disastrous population decline to Sichuan. By the early Qing Dynasty, the population of Sichuan was even less than 500,000. From 167 1 to 1776 and 15, Sichuan accepted a total of 6.23 million immigrants, which was called Huguang filling Sichuan in history. Modern Sichuan dialect was formed in this large-scale immigration movement.

Sichuan dialect originated from ancient Shu language and ancient Cuban language, and it is still the original layer of Sichuan dialect.
However, some words such as "Ba" (Ping Di), "Sister" (Mother) and "Yang" (You) in the ancient Shu language and Cuban language have remained. Since then, Sichuan dialect has been developing and changing with the historical process and the changes of immigrants in Bashu area. First, after the Qin Dynasty destroyed Bashu, Bashu area gradually formed a unique Bashu language belonging to the Chinese family. Later, in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, due to a large number of immigrants from Huguang and other places entering Sichuan, Bashu dialect evolved and merged with immigrant dialects from all over the world, and finally formed today's Sichuan dialect.
