Right of abode in Taiwan Province Province

Under the current policy, you can't obtain the right of abode through your relatives for the time being, because you are over 18 years old, so you can only visit relatives in Taiwan Province.

Mainland spouses settled in Taiwan Province and obtained identity cards:

(1) Biological children from the mainland can apply to visit relatives in Taiwan, each time for two months, and they can apply up to three times a year.

(2) Chinese mainland/KLOC-biological children under 0/2 years of age can apply to settle in Taiwan.

(3) Mainland/KLOC-biological children under the age of 0/8 can apply to visit relatives in Taiwan. The time limit for visiting relatives is six months at a time, which can be extended if necessary. They can also apply for permanent residence in Taiwan Province. Those who have lived in Taiwan Province for more than two years and have lived for more than 183 days each year may apply for settlement.
