Before emigrating to the United States, many China people thought that the United States was a paradise on earth with sound welfare, perfect medical care, high quality education, social justice, democracy and freedom. However, all this is just wishful thinking. Democracy, freedom and equality in the United States often belong to minority groups, and the gap between the rich and the poor in the American class is quite large. In a word, America is not as perfect as imagined.
