After all, farmers rarely encounter such a good thing as free housing. But no one expected that with the development of national economy, it is no longer difficult to give poor farmers free apartments and ensure their housing safety. According to the "Implementation Opinions on Supporting Poverty Alleviation in Deep Poverty Areas", before 2020, more poor households will be able to live in new houses distributed free of charge by the state.

In fact, the poor households we are talking about here generally refer to the poor households who set up files and set up cards. Nowadays, many rural areas adopt the policy of free housing distribution for poor households who have set up files and set up cards. Although some areas may charge thousands of dollars, they are actually "free" compared with the overall construction cost.

But from reality, we know that some farmers have lived for less than a year, and they regret it, and even have the idea of returning to poor houses. So, why is this? According to the old farmer, the main reasons are as follows:

Living in a building is very expensive.

High cost is generally the fundamental reason why farmers are unwilling to live in poor houses. Moreover, after farmers live in the unified resettlement community, the expenses in all aspects of life have also increased, which has brought great pressure to poor farmers. Therefore, in view of this situation, some farmers have the idea of returning to poor houses.

Worried that the old house will be demolished.

Many farmers believe that once they live in the houses of new poor households, the old houses will be collectively recovered. In fact, this is not the case. Collectively recovered only the homestead. As for whether the old house will be demolished, it is still necessary to seek the opinions of farmers. If farmers don't want to, they won't be demolished. Of course, if farmers agree to the demolition, they can also get a sum of compensation, which will not make farmers suffer.

Don't want to take off the hat of "poverty"

According to state regulations, poor households have a new house for free, even if it is "necessary" to get rid of poverty, they may not be able to enjoy other poverty alleviation subsidies in the future. For this reason, some poor farmers think that they can't take the houses of poor households, otherwise they will lose other benefits and will no longer be poor households. Therefore, many farmers are unwilling to take off the label of "poverty" just for other subsidies, so they have the idea of returning "poor houses".
