Feng Bingfen's Enthusiastic Public Welfare

For decades, Feng Bingfen has been actively developing his subordinate businesses and contributing to the prosperity and progress of Hong Kong. He has always been concerned about the society, enthusiastic about public welfare, carried out his father's legacy, and devoted himself to social welfare undertakings. He has paid love and care for the turbulent situation and war in Hong Kong. In the 194s, when the Pacific War broke out, Hong Kong was devastated by war. The Feng family did not leave Hong Kong and emigrated. On the contrary, he took an active part in social work, planning St. John's ambulance team and other public welfare affairs, and helped maintain the stability of the people in Hong Kong. Therefore, after the war, Feng Bingfen was awarded the Long Service Medal of St. John's Ambulance Team in World War II, and was also awarded the Pacific Battle Defence Medal. In addition, he served as the consultant of the Shu Hua Third Hospital, the Prime Minister of Po Leung Kuk, the president, committee member and consultant of many hospitals, orphanages, charities and Lok Shan Tong, and served the community wholeheartedly.

Feng Bingfen, as his father did before his death, not only helped the world and the community, but also spared no effort in promoting education, promoting learning and educating talents, and carried it forward. Over the past 5 years, Feng Bingfen has helped to establish more than 2 primary and secondary schools, and has been appointed as the founding director of the Wing Tung of the University of Hong Kong and the Chinese University.

fung ping shan, Feng Bingfen's father, generously donated 14, yuan (silver) in 1917, and opened Pingshan Poor School (later changed to Pingshan Primary School) in Xinhui County, where all children from poor families were exempted from tuition fees. Since the founding of the school, peaches and plums have spread all over the world, and they have loved their lovers for more than 6 years; In September, 1983, Feng Bingfen, Kun Zhong, Ke Shaojiqiu, took the blueprint for the expansion of Pingshan Primary School back to Xinhui, his hometown, studied with relevant departments, and donated HK$ 5, to expand the teaching building of Pingshan Primary School and build the Yuying Swimming Pool of Pingshan Primary School. Feng Bingfen donated 2, yuan and mini karaoke facilities. His brother Feng Bingqin also funded 1, yuan for the expansion of the school. In 1984, the Feng brothers donated another 3, yuan to repair the wing building of the school. In 1986, in order to meet the increasing needs of readers in Huicheng Library, Feng Bingfen and Kun Zhong donated 2 million Hong Kong dollars to expand the Jingtang Library founded by his father fung ping shan. The new building covers an area of 4,3 square meters, and a number of facilities such as air conditioners, televisions, stereos, photocopiers, fax machines and Chinese typewriters were presented.

In p>1993, for the 6th anniversary of Feng Bingfen's marriage to Ms. Jane Xiaoxian, he not only donated HK$ 1 million to Huicheng Hospital, but also saved the money for banquet to expand Pingshan School.

What is more worthy of praise is that Feng Bingfen not only did it himself, but also mobilized Hong Kong social groups, patriotic talents, and contributed money to the prosperity of overseas Chinese and the development of education in his hometown. In the late 198s, Xinhui built Liang Qichao Memorial Middle School. Apart from donating HK$ 1,, he also mobilized the Xinhui Chamber of Commerce of Overseas Chinese and Hong Kong to donate more than HK$ 3 million to build a middle school with beautiful environment, teaching buildings, libraries, gymnasiums, swimming pools and sports fields. The new chamber of commerce of overseas Chinese and Hong Kong, which he presided over, has always adhered to the grand purpose of serving the society and promoting learning and educating talents. It has successively held five primary and secondary schools, including Baisha Memorial Middle School and Xinhui Chamber of Commerce Middle School, in more than nine places in Hong Kong. In 1993, the new chamber of commerce of overseas Chinese and Hong Kong donated a Yucai school in Huicheng, which was praised for its great cause of cultivating people. As the chairman of the New Chamber of Commerce for Overseas Chinese and Hong Kong, Feng Bingfen's good deeds of patriotism, love for his hometown, and promoting learning and education have benefited Sang Zi, and his achievements last forever.

Feng Bingfen adheres to the court training, takes cultivating talents and popularizing culture as his own responsibility, and spares no effort in various construction undertakings such as schools and libraries. His great virtue of emphasizing education and rejuvenating the country and benefiting Sang Zi is well-known in his hometown, which is a model for compatriots abroad. On November 9, 1992, Xinhui withdrew from the county to set up a city and held a grand celebration. Feng Bingfen was invited to participate in the celebration. On December 25, 1992, the Standing Committee of Xinhui Municipal People's Congress awarded Feng Bingfen "Honorary Citizen of Xinhui City.
