(1) Tourist visa (L-shaped visa): issued to people coming to China Foreign citizens who come to China for tourism, visiting relatives or other private matters. (2) Visitor visa (F visa): issued to people who are invited to visit, inspect, give lectures, do business, conduct scientific and cultural exchanges, and conduct short-term further studies, internships and other activities in China for a period of no more than six months. . Applicants must provide an invitation letter from the Chinese inviting unit or a visa notification letter and telex from the authorized unit.

(3) Study visa (X visa): issued to foreign citizens who come to China to study, further study, or intern for more than 6 months. Applicants must hold certificates from the accepting unit or competent department, namely the "Application Form for Foreign Students to Study in China" (JW201 Form or JW202 Form), "Admission Notice" and "Foreigner Physical Examination Record".

(4) Work visa (Z visa): issued to people who come to China to work or work and their accompanying family members, as well as foreign citizens who come to China for commercial performances. Depending on the situation, the applicant must provide the "Employment Permit for Foreigners of the People's Republic of China" (the employment permit must be applied for by the Chinese employment unit to the labor department of each province, autonomous region, or municipality directly under the Central Government), or the Permanent Representative Certificate in China and Visa notification letters and telegrams from authorized units, approval letters from the Ministry of Culture or provincial cultural departments (bureaus), visa notifications from foreign offices of relevant provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, and other related materials.

(5) Transit visa (G visa): issued to foreign citizens transiting through China to a third country. Applicants must hold a valid visa and connecting ticket for the country (region) they are going to.

(6) Cabin Crew Visa (C Visa): Issued to international train crew members, international aircraft crew members, and seafarers on international sailing ships and their accompanying family members who perform crew, aviation, and shipping tasks. Applicants must provide relevant certificates in accordance with the agreement between the two parties or Chinese regulations.

(7) Journalist visa (J visa): a visa issued to news practitioners. Among them, J-1 visa is issued to foreign journalists who are resident in China; J-2 visa is issued to foreign journalists who come to China temporarily for reporting. Applicants must hold a certificate from the Chinese competent authority.

(8) Settlement visa (D visa): issued to foreign citizens who come to settle in China. You must have a settlement status confirmation form, which should be obtained by the applicant or his or her entrusted relative in China from the exit and entry management department of the municipal or county public security bureau where the applicant applied for settlement.
