1. About visa types

2. About visa time

The time to apply for a UK study visa must be within three months before the start of school. Applications made more than three months ago will be considered invalid. The visa review time is generally 15 working days, and if you choose expedited service, it will be shortened to 3-5 working days.

3. About entry time

Short-term courses of less than 6 months are allowed to arrive in the UK one week in advance before the start of school, while courses of more than 6 months are allowed to arrive in the UK at most in advance. Arrived in one month. Students can travel once the validity date on their visa begins.

4. About visa fees

The student visa fee for UK study abroad consultation is 335 pounds (for RMB prices, please refer to the current exchange rate). The fee can only be paid online. The fee will not be refunded after the visa is refused. (Except for successful appeals due to special reasons).

5. About visa expedited service

There are now 12 British visa centers across the country that can handle expedited services. Applicants who need this service need to submit their documents when submitting. 1,000 yuan.

The review time for visa applications will be shortened from the normal 15 working days to 3-5 working days. This expedited service does not guarantee that applicants will successfully obtain a visa, it only speeds up the visa review process. If the visa application is refused, the expedited service fee will not be refunded. If the expedited review time exceeds the expected time, the expedited service fee will not be refunded.

6. Regarding the deposit period of the deposit certificate

The deposit date must be at least 28 days from the date of visa application. Please note that the date of visa application refers to the day when you complete the application form online and pay the application fee, not the day when you submit the materials to the visa center.

For example, if you completed the visa application form and paid the visa fee on the GOV website on June 29, the date of deposit on the deposit certificate must be June 1 or before.

The deposit certificate must be issued within one month of submitting visa materials. For example, if you make an appointment to submit visa application materials on June 30, the deposit certificate must be issued on or after June 1.

7. About the deposit amount

The deposit amount is required to meet one year's living expenses and tuition fees. The living expenses are calculated as 1,265 pounds per month in London and 1,015 pounds per month outside London.

8. Regarding the translation of visa materials

All non-English original documents must be translated by a formal translation agency. If you do not bring a translation, you can only choose the translation service of the visa center. Additional fees are payable at the time. The fee is RMB 90 per page and RMB 200 per page for complex documents.
