In 928, Yang Ganzhen, our envoy from Dongchuan, killed Dachang and Zheng Longxu, the last emperor of China, made Zhao Shanzheng emperor and changed his name to Daejeon Xingguo. In 929, Yang Ganzhen abolished Zhao Shanzheng, established himself as emperor, and changed his country name to "Yi Ningguo".

Kublai Khan sent messengers to surrender Duan Xingzhi many times, but Duan Xingzhi refused to surrender and killed Kublai Khan's messengers.
