A probe into the origin of Weining, Guizhou, the capital of Kongqian

Kong's family originated from the descendants of King Shang Tang, taking the original surname and ancestral characters as the surname. In the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, Kong traveled to Fujian, Guangdong, Guizhou and Yunnan. Today, people named Kong are widely distributed, mostly in Shandong, Jiangsu and Jilin. The above three provinces account for about 73% of the population of the Han nationality named Kong, while Shandong, the "holy land" of Kong, accounts for 60%.
