First, we should understand the meaning of these words:

Water conservancy: As the name implies, using water and profiting from it means using water resources to benefit mankind. Water conservancy in a broad sense includes water intake, irrigation, fishery, shipping, power generation and flood control. Now water conservancy mainly refers to agricultural water conservancy (irrigation), flood control and power generation.

Hydraulic power: refers to the power of water, and there is a special discipline hydraulics. The power of water includes potential energy and kinetic energy, and the reason why water can generate electricity is because of water power.

Water conservancy project: a project aimed at irrigation, flood control and water intake.

Hydropower projects: projects with the main purpose of generating electricity, most of which have the functions of irrigation, flood control and water intake.

Water conservancy and hydropower: the general term for water conservancy and hydropower projects.
