What are international labor standards?

International labor standards can be divided into the following categories according to their contents:

(1) Core labor standards, including freedom of association and collective bargaining, abolition of all forms of forced and compulsory labor, effective abolition of child labor, equal pay for equal work, and elimination of discrimination in employment and occupation.

(2) Labor professional standards, including conventions on employment promotion, social policies, labor management, labor relations, working conditions, occupational safety and health, social security, etc.

(3) Standards for specific groups, including conventions on women, children and underage workers, elderly workers, disabled people, migrant workers, seafarers, fishermen, dockers, domestic workers and other specific groups.
