What is the area of Inner Mongolia?

It is one of the three provincial administrative regions in China, covering an area of over 654.38 million square kilometers.

This area has exceeded the area of 8% countries in the world. From the westernmost part of Inner Mongolia to the easternmost part, the straight-line distance is more than 24 kilometers, which is equivalent to the distance from Fuzhou, Fujian to Yingkou, Liaoning.
