Consequences of crew staying abroad

If the crew cannot return to China and stay abroad due to force majeure after the expiration of the overseas shift isolation period, or after the COVID-19 infection is cured or the medical treatment period is over, the shipowner shall actively help the crew to return home as soon as possible, ensure the life safety of the crew, pay reasonable accommodation and transportation expenses for the crew during their stay, and pay meals according to the standard not lower than the collective agreement, and pay the crew wages not lower than the minimum wage standard where the shipowner's enterprise is located during their stay.
