Are China people from China?

Not all China people are from China.

China people are only of China origin, and most of them were born in China. However, some people emigrated from childhood to live with their elders at home, and even changed their nationality. Others grew up in China and went to other countries for development.

There are two kinds of China people in our laws. One is that although they have developed abroad, they still retain their China nationality. They are generally called overseas Chinese. There is also a group of people who immigrated overseas and joined other nationalities, generally known as overseas Chinese.

However, many overseas Chinese have joined foreign nationalities for better development, but after some achievements, they have returned to the embrace of the motherland without hesitation and continue to contribute to the development of the country.

Distribution characteristics

Overseas Chinese mainly live in Singapore, where there are many local ethnic minorities, and Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam, where there are few local ethnic minorities. From 16 to 19 century, overseas Chinese in these areas were mainly concentrated in Fujian and Guangdong provinces, and later concentrated in Hainan province. From the tenth century to the fifteenth century, immigrants mainly went to Malacca and Southeast Asia.

Since the second half of the 20th century, the geographical distribution of overseas Chinese has also changed, showing a gradual dispersion from concentration, that is, from a high concentration in Asia, especially Southeast Asia, to areas outside Asia, especially Europe, the United States and Australia.
