Why do most NBA stars support Curry against Trump?

Mainly because the United States has always been particularly sensitive to racial issues. Trump is white, many NBA stars are black, and Curry is also a mixed-race non-white. NBA stars are very supportive of former President Barack Obama, and Curry often plays golf with Obama. Trump abolished many of Obama's policies as soon as he took office.
