Where does Panama belong?

Panama is the southernmost country in Central America, with Panama City as its capital. The Panama Canal in central Panama connects the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean and is an important shipping artery.

Panama is close to the equator and has a tropical maritime climate. It is humid during the day and cool at night, with an average annual temperature of 23-27C. Panama is rich in mineral resources, but it is not exploited much, mainly including gold, silver, copper, iron, mercury, bauxite, manganese, salt and oil.
