I. visa instructions

Nepal visa type:

(1) Transit visa

Issued to those who stay in Nepal for no more than 7 days and transit at one time; Direct transit, issue a 48-hour transit visa. (2) Tourist visa

The visa is valid for one month. You can't do business or work during the visit. If there is not enough time, you can apply to the Immigration Bureau for an extension, which can be extended for three months at a time. If you want to live and work for a long time, you must apply to the Immigration Bureau for a temporary residence and work visa, which will be examined and approved by the Director of Immigration Bureau.

(3) Work visa

1. Long-term work visa, namely STR (pending review): an application is made by a foreigner who intends to live in Nepal. It can be the owners and employees of foreign industrial and commercial enterprises registered in Nepal, or the spouses and children of the above two types of people. They must have an approved immigration quota permit and business license. The applicant shall submit an application to the Nigerian embassy or consulate abroad or the Nigerian Immigration Bureau with the following documents, which shall be examined and approved by the Director of Immigration Bureau:

A. Passports valid for more than 6 months;

B.4 photos;

C. Nigerian company registration certificate;

D. Letter from the company applying for STR visa;

E. letter of appointment of the company;

F. Letter from the applicant accepting the employment of the company;

G. A copy of the company's latest immigration quota approval document;

STR visas are generally valid for 3 months. After the applicant arrives in Nepal, he must apply for a residence permit, that is, CERPAC card, from the Immigration Bureau within the validity period of STR visa. Since 2002, the Nigerian Immigration Bureau has issued a combination of a foreigner's card and a residence permit to foreigners living in Nepal, referred to as CERPAC card. In addition to the production fee and handling fee of $350, each applicant should also provide the same documents, company tax forms, personal income tax forms and personal fingerprints as those applied for STR visa. This card is valid for one year and can be used together with the passport.

(4) Diplomatic courtesy and free courtesy visa

1. Diplomatic courtesy visa: The following persons can obtain diplomatic courtesy visa free of charge: government officials, personnel of United Nations agencies, technical assistance project personnel, economic and trade delegations, personnel invited by the federal government of Nigeria, and diplomats officially appointed by Nepal.

2. Free courtesy visa: This visa is issued free of charge to foreign government officials who do not have diplomatic visa qualifications but travel on official business.

(5) Mutual visa exemption

Citizens of West African economic countries and other countries that have mutual visa exemption with Nigeria can do so. The above-mentioned personnel must enter the country by plane, ship or vehicle at the designated port of entry. Immigration officials believe that immigrants are not sick, pose no security threat to Nepal and are allowed to enter the country without relief.

China citizens apply for visas at the Nigerian Embassy in China, and the visa fee is RMB 250 yuan only. Be careful not to send your passport to Nigeria, and don't entrust someone to apply for a visa in China, otherwise you will encounter trouble when entering and after entering the country.
