Geographical location

Dalu New District is located in Dalu Township and Dongkondui Township in the north of Zhungar Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is adjacent to the Yellow River in the north, about 80 kilometers away from the capital of the autonomous region, and in the south from the banner area. The central city, banner committee and government seat

is about 40 kilometers away from Xuejiawan Town.

1.2 Natural conditions ----- Topography

The planning area is located on the eastern edge of the Kubuqi Desert, on the secondary platform on the south bank of the Yellow River, with the Yellow River alluvial plain to the north , the central part is a fixed and semi-fixed sandy area, and the southern part is a hilly Liangmao area. The altitude is about 1040-1080m. The terrain is generally higher in the southwest and lower in the northeast, with the maximum height difference being about 40m. The current land use is mainly sandy terrain, with star-shaped and wavy fixed and semi-fixed sand dunes distributed in the north and central part of it. The overall vegetation coverage rate within the planning area is relatively high.

2.1 Planning period: short-term: 2004-2010; long-term: 2011-2020; long-term: after 2021.

2.2 Planning Scope

The planning area starts from the Yellow River in the north, Dongkongduigou in the east, two kilometers west of Dagou in the west, and reaches the County Daoyang-Ji Line in the south. The total area It is 206 square kilometers. In addition to most of the land in Dalu Township, it also includes part of the land in Dongkongdui Town.
