Ownership of water areas formed by power stations

Article 7.1 of the National Standard "Reservoir Operation Regulations for Large and Medium-sized Hydropower Stations" (GB17621-1998) of the People's Republic of China: Reservoir resettlement or land acquisition line below the water surface and reservoir bank, any unit or individual No right to develop and utilize privately. For development and utilization projects without the consent of the reservoir dispatching and management unit, the reservoir dispatching and management unit shall not bear any responsibility for losses caused by the storage and release of water from the reservoir.
