Social influence of illegal immigrants

For China people, illegal immigrants are often regarded as a threat to traditional culture, because they occupy public facilities, greatly increase government expenditure without paying taxes, or only a small number of people pay taxes and become cheap labor that attacks local employment. For China people, compared with their own taxes, with the increase of illegal immigrants, the social welfare they can get is diluted and reduced. Surprisingly, however, in the United States, the crime rate of illegal immigrants is much lower than that of native people. According to Time magazine, in 2008, the crime rate of California natives was 10 times that of illegal immigrants.
