China's minimum wage standards vary from province to province. Recently, Suzhou Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security announced that Suzhou City, Zhangjiagang City, Changshu City, Taicang City and Kunshan City all implemented Jiangsu Province's monthly minimum wage standard, which was adjusted from 1940 yuan/month to 2023 yuan/month. According to the Notice on Adjusting the Minimum Wage in Suzhou, we know that according to the spirit of the Notice on Adjusting the Minimum Wage in Suzhou by the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, with the consent of the municipal government, the minimum wage in Suzhou was adjusted from August 1 2065438.

The first is to adjust the minimum wage.

1, adjust the monthly minimum wage. Suzhou City, Zhangjiagang City, Changshu City, Taicang City and Kunshan City all implemented the monthly minimum wage standard for the first-class areas in Jiangsu Province, which was adjusted from the original 1940 yuan/month to 2023 yuan/month.

2. Adjust the hourly minimum wage. Suzhou City, Zhangjiagang City, Changshu City, Taicang City and Kunshan City all implement the minimum hourly wage standard for part-time workers in Class I areas of Jiangsu Province, which is adjusted from 17 yuan/hour to 18.5 yuan/hour.

What cities are included in each region?

1. The first-class areas are: Nanjing, Wuxi, Jiangyin, Yixing, Changzhou, liyang city, Suzhou, Zhangjiagang, Changshu, Kunshan, Taicang, Nantong, Qidong, Yangzhou, Zhenjiang, Danyang, Yangzhong, jurong city and Taizhou. The monthly minimum wage is 2280 yuan, and the hourly minimum wage is 22 yuan.

2. Category II areas: Xuzhou (excluding tongshan district), Hai 'an, Rugao, Rudong, Lianyungang (excluding Ganyu), Huai 'an (excluding Huai 'an, Huaiyin and Hongze), Yancheng, Dongtai, Yizheng, Gaoyou, Baoying, Jingjiang, xinghua city and Taixing. The monthly minimum wage is 2070 yuan, and the hourly minimum wage is 20 yuan.

3. Three types of areas: tongshan district, xinyi city, Fengxian, Peixian, Pizhou, Suining, Ganyu, guannan county, Guanyun, Donghai, Huai 'an, Huaiyin, Hongze, Lianshui, Xuyi, Jinhu, jianhu county, Sheyang, Funing, Binhai, Xiangshui, Suqian and Shuyang. The monthly minimum wage is 1840 yuan and the hourly minimum wage is 18 yuan.

Legal basis: minimum wage regulations

Trade union organizations at all levels shall supervise the implementation of these Provisions in accordance with the law, and have the right to request the local labor security administrative department to deal with it if it is found that the employer violates these Provisions to pay the wages of workers.

Fifth minimum wage standards generally take the form of monthly minimum wage standards and hourly minimum wage standards. The monthly minimum wage applies to full-time employees and the hourly minimum wage applies to part-time employees.
