Introduction to Changxing Dialect

Changxing dialect belongs to Wuyu-Taihu-Tiaoxi area. Wuyu Tiaoxi District includes Wuxing District, Nanxun District, Changxing, Anji (except the western border area of the above two counties where Mandarin immigrants live), Deqing and some parts of Hangzhou (including most of Yuhang District, eastern Jianggan District, northern Xihu District and northern Gongshu District), with a population of about 3 million. Changxing dialect, commonly known as "Changxing dialect" or "Changxing gossip", belongs to Wu dialect Taihu Lake. There are also differences in Changxing's internal dialects: East Hongqiao, Xintang and other places have serious fricative sounds, "chicken and pig" are homophones, and "Qi and Times" are homophones; "Sour" and "three" are homophonic in southern China, which is homophonic with "official and vulgar"; Read the rhyme of "You, Qiu and Xiu" in Xi 'an and South Peace [iy]; The pronunciation of "hand" and "smelly" in northern China is different from that in other regions. Because of living area, transportation, trade, cultural exchange, marriage and other reasons, Changxing dialect in the south of Lushan Mountain, on both sides of Xitiaoxi River and in Huzhou area has Huzhou accent in the northeast of Heping. The accent in Baixian area has a strong Yixing accent, and the northern part of Jingshan Park has always been dominated by Yixing dialect. At the same time, there are Hakka dialects in Changxing, mainly distributed in the west, mainly including Henan dialect and Pingyang dialect, as well as Jiande dialect, Wenzhou dialect, Taizhou dialect, Anqing dialect and Subei dialect.
