The relationship between China and Russia.

Russia decided to develop capitalism, which is quite different from China in ideology. But in terms of state relations, Sino-Russian relations are not bad at present.

From the Russian point of view, in the face of geopolitical pressure from western countries, we absolutely don't want any more twists and turns in our relations with China. At that time, the Soviet Union spent 200 billion rubles on the Sino-Soviet border, which was equivalent to more than 300 billion dollars at that time. Russia certainly does not want to repeat the same mistakes. Russia today is far less powerful than it was then. At the same time, the development of Russia's vast Far East is slow, and Russia very much hopes to use the opportunity of China's development to promote the development of Russia's Far East.

At the same time, China is also an important exporter of Russian weapons and raw materials. At present, the Russian economy is very dependent on the export of energy and weapons, and China is an important importer and exporter.

From China's point of view, China and Russia have a long border, and stable Sino-Russian relations are certainly beneficial to China. At the same time, China doesn't have many choices in energy import, especially advanced weapons and equipment and technical cooperation in the aerospace field. In addition, China and Russia share common interests in maintaining world stability, developing multi-polarization and restraining American hegemony.

However, China and Russia are not harmonious. Russia has been worried that China's strength will pose a threat to Russia, and Russia will be attacked from both sides. China's military technology and space technology are developing rapidly, while Russian exports fewer and fewer weapons and its advantages are getting smaller and smaller. China, on the other hand, is dissatisfied with many restrictions and delays in Russian arms exports to China, as well as changeable energy exports. On the whole, however, Sino-Russian relations are relatively stable.

But for Russians, it can only be said that it is a relationship of utilization, far from being a relationship of friends, but the clarity of strategic partnership seems to have a subtle relationship. But looking forward to the future, Russia is indeed a neighbor worthy of communication, because Russia is no longer the Soviet Union, and now the upper echelons of Russia understand that the real meaning of politics is friendship and development.
