In the 29th year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (AD 1396), Fujian was reorganized and merged into Jianning Road and Funing Road. Zhangzhou, Xinghua and Quanzhou belong to Funing Road, which governs Fuzhou, Ningde, Quanzhou, Putian, Xiamen and Zhangzhou. In Qing Dynasty, xinluo district and zhangping city set up Longyan Zhili Mansion, Zhili Hall Zhang Long Road and Daozhi Resident Zhangzhou Mansion. Quanzhou and Xiamen belong to Xingquan Yongdao and Xingquan Road. In April of the ninth year of Kangxi, Xingquan Road was restored in A.D. 1670, and Xinghua and Quanzhou were led (Record of the Sage (Volume 33) and Annals of Qianlong and Fujian (Volume 20)). In the 25th year of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty (1686), Tongzhi of Coastal Defence in Quanzhou was changed to Xiamen and Yongzheng. In the twelfth year of Yongzheng,1June, 734, it was promoted to Yongchun County, Quanzhou Prefecture, and renamed Xingquan Yong Dao (Volume 143 of Records of Sejong). By the end of Qing Dynasty, Xinghua, Quanzhou, Yongchun and other 2 1 states were all under Xinghua Road. In the fifth year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty (1727), it belonged to Xingquan Yong Dao (now under the jurisdiction of Quanzhou, Putian, Xiamen and Yongchun), and its site was first in Putian (Xinghua Station), then moved from Putian to Quanzhou in the middle period, and then moved from Quanzhou to Xiamen. During the Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties in China's history, civil strife, wars and the invasion of northern nationalities occurred in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River many times, and refugees began to enter Fujian, which changed the original "Baiyue" indigenous language and gradually formed the earliest Fujian dialect. However, another large-scale entry of Han people into Fujian began in the Sui and Tang Dynasties. Due to many civil strife and wars in the Central Plains, a large number of Han Chinese from the northern part of the Central Plains entered Fujian, bringing the northern spoken language of the Sui, Tang and Five Dynasties in the 8- 10 century, the so-called "fifteen-tone system", and the so-called "Heluo dialect" gradually formed at this time.

There are also some Hakka villages and towns in Nanjing, Pinghe, Xiao Yun and Zhaoan, Zhangzhou, with hundreds of thousands of Hakka people. For example, the Baiqi Hui nationality township in Quanzhou, and the Hui nationality in Quanzhou who is not in the Hui nationality township will also be fluent in Minnan.

In the late Jin Dynasty, Jin people moved to Fujian and formed some elementary Quanzhou dialects. In the Tang Dynasty, Zheng Chen and Chen Yuanguang and his son led the troops into Fujian to suppress rebellion, and then settled in Zhangzhou, bringing the Middle Ages in the north in the 7th century. /kloc-in the 20th century, Wang Chao brothers marched into Fujian to drive away Huang Chao's army, which also brought the Middle Ages. From the above two groups of immigrants, the northern spoken language has evolved into the basis of the so-called "Minnan dialect". It is mainly distributed in Xiazhangquan area of Jiulong River basin, Silla and Zhangping in Longyan, Datian in Sanming and other areas.
