How do American students make money?

Students have no right to work in essence, but there are two exceptions: on-campus work and off-campus practice. This paper will introduce these two ways to make money to help students better understand how to make money in the United States.

Campus work

Campus work, work-study program nature, allowing students to apply. From simple handyman to professor assistant, the salary ranges from the local minimum wage to twice. It can be roughly considered as 10- 15 yuan per hour.

Off-campus practice

You need to apply for CPT/OPT before you can concentrate on your internship within the approved time period. You can work in an enterprise like an ordinary employee, and the minimum salary you get may be unpaid (no kidding), and the maximum salary may be the same as that of an ordinary employee.

Matters needing attention

Without the establishment of illegal workers, the income is very low and the risk is great. The Immigration Bureau has rich handling experience. Once discovered, it may lead to immediate repatriation or even permanent entry.
