How to submit IELTS language scores

The IELTS test report card is the authoritative proof of the examinee's English ability. In order to ensure the authenticity of the report, the receiving institution generally only recognizes the original report sent by our office. Therefore, candidates often apply for additional report card delivery service when using IELTS scores.

How to apply for sending extra ielts test report form?

1) Additional report card sending range

Additional transcripts can be sent to: (only 1 copy can be sent to all places)

√ Universities, professional institutions and government departments at home and abroad (Note: Candidates who apply for sending extra transcripts to China must provide the certificate issued by the score certification institution online, explaining the reasons for the need for the original IELTS test report, and can only send it after being reviewed by our office. )

√ Immigration Visa Office of Adelaide Technical Immigration Bureau (ASPC)

√ Visa offices of embassies and consulates in countries other than Britain/Australia/Canada.

IELTS test results are valid for 2 years after the test date. After the expiration date, we will not be able to provide additional results delivery services.

2) Application method of extra transcripts

After the results are announced, candidates can log on to the IELTS official website Post-test Service Platform, apply for sending extra transcripts online, and pay related fees.

Once the application for sending extra transcripts online is submitted successfully, it cannot be changed or cancelled.

3) Query the result of sending extra transcripts

When additional transcripts are sent, we will inform candidates of the details by email.

Candidates can also log on to the IELTS official website post-test service platform at any time to check the sending status of additional transcripts online.

If the candidate's application for sending extra transcripts in China fails to pass our examination and approval, the service fee and courier fee paid by the candidate will be directly refunded to the bank card account used at the time of payment by bank transfer within 2 weeks, and the refund period is generally 10 working day. Candidates can arrange a refund and check their bank card accounts at our office after 10 working days. In order to ensure timely refund, please ensure that your bank card account number is valid within 3 months after you complete online payment.

4) Sending extra registration cards is free of charge.

From 20 12 1.7 onwards, candidates who have taken the test will be exempted from the ordinary service fee of RMB 60 yuan/copy for the first five extra transcripts applied for within the 2-year validity period of IELTS scores.

Please note that free extra transcripts cannot be discounted, deducted or transferred to other test dates, and the free amount occupied by invalid applications cannot be refunded to candidates.

5) Send additional report forms for ordinary service fees and expedited service fees.

Starting from the 6th additional report card, the ordinary service fee is RMB 60 yuan/copy, and the service commitment time is to send the additional report card within 5 working days after the candidate successfully submits the application form online and pays the relevant fees.

Candidates can enjoy the expedited service by paying a surcharge of RMB 40 yuan/copy on the basis of the ordinary service fee. The service commitment time is to send supplementary transcripts within 3 working days after the candidates successfully submit the application form online and pay the relevant fees.

Additional transcripts within the free delivery limit can also be paid for expedited services.

6) Delivery method and express delivery fee

Electronic report card

Institutions or institutions that have opened the electronic transcript download service only accept additional transcripts sent in the form of electronic data (please refer to the list of institutions and institutions that accept electronic transcripts). Please refer to the IELTS global website and IELTS test score verification website for a brief introduction of the electronic transcript download service, and refer to the IELTS test score verification website for a demonstration of the electronic transcript download program. If you choose to send extra transcripts in the form of electronic data, please inform the receiving institution or institution to apply for sending directly when filling in the registration form within 5 working days after receiving the confirmation email of extra transcripts, and no handling fee will be charged.

* Additional transcripts will be sent within 15 working days after the exam.

* Before the registration deadline, candidates can modify and send applications online; If there is any change after the registration deadline, please contact the Examination Department of the British Council (as the Cultural and Education Office of embassies and consulates in China, UK) in time.

After the registration deadline:

* Candidates can apply for online sending on the website of/examples/Chinese/applications _ registjsp, and the number of copies is not limited. The handling fee is 60 yuan/copy.

* Additional transcripts will be sent within 5 working days after receiving your application (not earlier than the date when the candidates' transcripts are issued).

* Please contact the Examination Department of the British Council (as the Cultural and Education Office of the British Embassy/Consulate in China) by email if you need to amend it.

Note: Candidates can check the sending records of additional transcripts on the website of/examples/examins/Chinese/search.jsp every Friday after 17:00, and the sending results will be notified to you by email.

3. Do I have to pay for sending extra transcripts?

Before the registration deadline, candidates can apply for sending up to five extra transcripts free of charge through the IELTS registration form. After the registration deadline, you must apply through the British Council (as the Cultural and Educational Office of the British Embassy/Consulate in China) to send additional transcripts, each of which will be charged a handling fee of RMB in 60 yuan.

4. How will my extra report card be sent? Do I need to pay any postage/freight?

The delivery method and postage/freight of the additional transcripts are as follows:

* Please refer to/examples/upload/e-extra _ TRF _ ro _ list.xls. If your college or institution has applied for electronic report card service, your extra report card will be sent electronically.

* If you choose international air mail, you don't have to pay the postage.

* If you choose express delivery (DHL or EMS), please bear the express freight. Please refer to/examples/Chinese/applications _ intro.jsp.

* Postage does not include handling fee.

* Please pay the relevant fees before filling in the online application form.

5. How can I pay the extra report card formalities and/or express freight?

Payment method:

* You can remit money through the post office or pay cash in the office of the British Council (as the Cultural and Educational Office of the British Embassy/Consulate in China). Please do not send cash.

* The East China Test Area under the Shanghai Office of the British Council (as the Cultural and Education Office of the British Embassy/Consulate in China) only accepts postal remittances.

* If remittance is made by post office, please use ordinary remittance method, and indicate the candidate's name and test number.

* Beijing office: (0 10)65906903 to 3 12 (accepted to take the exam in Beijing, Tianjin, Harbin, Shenyang, Changchun, Dalian, Jinan, Qingdao, Xi 'an, Urumqi, Zhengzhou, Wuhan and Changsha a few days ago.

* Guangzhou office: (020) 85 1 03000 (candidates from Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Nanning, Haikou and Changsha will be accepted from July12006).

* Shanghai office: (021) extension 63912626. 270 (Accepting applications from candidates taking exams in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing and Hefei).

* Chongqing office: (023)63736888 extension. 238/225 (Candidates taking exams in Chongqing, Chengdu, Kunming and Guiyang are accepted).

6. What are the precautions for applying for sending extra transcripts online on the/Exams/Chinese/Applications _ regist.jsp website after the exam?

* Please fill in your personal information carefully. If the information you fill in is inaccurate, your application will be considered invalid. You can check the correct information through the "My Status" page of the IELTS registration website, or you can call the national service hotline of the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education: 010-62798811.

* The name, address and country of the recipient/department, institution/institution of IELTS extra report must be filled in completely, otherwise the system will not continue to operate. Please ensure that the information you provide is accurate, otherwise your report card may not be delivered or rejected by the recipient, and the British Council (as the Cultural and Education Office of the British Embassy/Consulate in China) will not be responsible for any consequences arising therefrom.

* Since April 1 2006, the IELTS electronic extra report card delivery service has been officially launched. Before choosing the delivery method, you are advised to check whether the colleges and institutions you apply for can receive electronic report cards. After you choose to send it electronically, please inform the other party for inspection as soon as possible to ensure that the other party receives it in time.

7. Is the transmission of electronic transcripts safe? How can candidates who apply for this service confirm that the receiving institution has received the results?

As far as security is concerned, e-mail is no less than traditional mail. Candidates can contact the receiving institution directly if they want to know whether the receiving institution has received their electronic transcripts.
