Geographical environment of Zhashui fishing drum

Zhashui is located in the south of Shaanxi Province, in the northwest of Shangluo City, and at the southern foot of Qinling Mountains, the geographical boundary between north and south of China. It borders Chang 'an County and Lantian County in the north, Shangzhou District and Shanyang County in the east and Zhen 'an County in the south. The county covers an area of 2,332 square kilometers, governs 16 townships, and has a population of165,000. Tussah water, located between subtropical zone and warm temperate zone, is a natural transition zone between north and south, with obvious vertical differences in climate and plants.

In the north of the county, the main peak of Niubeiliang in Qinling Mountains covers the whole area of Tussah water, stretching for more than 100 kilometers, with dense forests and abundant water resources. Most of the central part is karst landform, and the karst cave landscape of Shiwen is called "the wonders of the north", and Xiaoling and other places are rich in mineral resources. Shechuan Valley in the south has the charm of Jiangnan water town. Glycerol River originates from the southern foot of Qinling Mountains and is the main source water system of Hanjiang River.

The unique geographical location and many times of migration in history have brought rich multiculturalism, forming a regional culture, folk culture and music culture that blends North and South without losing local characteristics. Culturally, there are both the rich and gentle Chu culture and the rough and unconstrained northern culture.
