What are the requirements for self-employed immigrants in Canada?
At least two years of relevant experience in the field of culture, art or sports in the five years before submitting the application (see the list of relevant occupations for details), and plan to work in this field in Canada in the form of self-employment; ?
At least 35 points on the rating scale; ?
Basic English or French skills; ?
Prove that there are enough funds to support the living expenses of the whole family at least 1 year after they arrive in Canada.
You can bring the following affiliated applicants:
1) spouse or cohabiting partner
2) Unmarried children under the age of 22
Relevant experience in the field of culture, art or sports:
1) Two years of self-employment experience in the last five years (these two years don't need to be continuous) or,
2)? Have two years of experience in participating in world activities in the past five years (these two years need not be continuous) or,
3)? In the last five years, I have 1 year experience in starting my own business and 1 year experience in participating in world activities (these two years need not be continuous).
* The applicant's relevant self-employment experience needs to be kept until the end of the immigration stage.
