You need to apply for a passport to visit relatives.

It takes about 15 days to go to the exit-entry agency of the public security bureau where the household registration is located.

Bidding materials

1. Submit a complete passport application form with recent bareheaded color photos (48X33mm, white background) of the applicant, and submit two photos with the same specifications.

2. Submit the city's household registration book (or the original household registration certificate) and a copy of the ID card, and submit the original.

3. The following persons (with specific identities) also need to submit the opinions of the company:

(1) On-the-job and retired city management cadres;

(2) Organs at all levels include workers, youth, women and other people's organizations and middle-level leading cadres of democratic party organs;

(3) Staff members involved in key positions in state politics, economy, security, business secrets, finance, taxation, scientific research, teaching and other organs and state-owned enterprises and institutions;

(4) refer to the staff of the units directly under the central government in Shanghai and other provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in Shanghai.
