Application process of studying visa in the United States

Studying in the United States is the dream of many people, but the visa application process is a difficult one. This paper will introduce the application process and required materials for studying in the United States.

Prepare materials

Choose a school, prepare materials: language scores (IELTS or TOEFL), GRE/GMAT, university diploma, degree certificate, four-year report card, deposit certificate, personal statement, three letters of recommendation, download the application form and financial guarantee certificate from the school website, pay the application fee by credit card or money order, and mail the materials to the school for admission. Get the I-20 form

Get the I-20 form and prepare the visa materials at the same time.

Visa materials

Visa materials: a valid passport, a photo, the original visa application fee receipt, non-immigrant visa application forms DS- 156, DS- 157 and DS- 158, a complete SEVIS form for students and exchange visiting scholars, SEVIS fee receipt, proof with strong binding force in China, and proof of funds and research.
