Gansu is located in the west, adjacent to Xinjiang. The Hui people have two origins, the western and the northern. The largest origin is called the Uighur. China's topography says that the western part is hilly and mountainous and underdeveloped, while the eastern river plain is economically developed. Therefore, the trend of population flow is to go eastward, so it is not surprising that people from Gansu go east to Shaanxi, and people from Xinjiang go to Qinghai and Gansu. As for the theory of Long Xingzhi, it may be from the Warring States Period. At that time, the Hui people did not necessarily exist. It happened after the Tang Dynasty.
