H- 1B work visa holders are only allowed to work for specific employers. Liu Ruhua, an immigration lawyer, also pointed out that it is not illegal to buy some American goods for relatives and friends in China, but it is ultra vires to buy in large quantities for profit. Sending a large number of packages with the same name and address for a long time may attract the attention of the customs, and then trace the name and address to find out who is engaged in purchasing without a work permit. Zheng Yi also reminded that the case of immigration status caused by purchasing has not yet appeared, but it does not mean that it is foolproof; Once the government discovers illegal work, the consequences will be very serious.
