What level of native place should I fill in?

Fill in the county-level area of origin, and fill in the prefecture-level city or region in the middle.

For example, Quyang in Hebei Province and Laoting in Hebei Province, not Quyang County in Baoding City, Hebei Province or Laoting County in Tangshan City, Hebei Province.

According to the Notice of the Ministry of Public Security on Launching the New Registration Form and Household Register of Permanent Residents, the document Gongtongzi [1995]9 1 stipulates that a citizen's place of birth should be his grandfather's place of residence.

To declare the household registration, the household registration of the baby grandfather should be filled in. After the native place is determined, if grandpa's household registration changes, no change of native place will be handled.
