Construction Process

The Three Gorges Left Bank Power Station has 14 generating units. Units 4-6 and 10-14 have a total of 8 units. Alstom is responsible for the turbines, and Swiss ABB is responsible for the generators. The other six units (Units 1-3 and 7-9) are manufactured by the VGS consortium composed of Voith, GE and Siemens.
