Australian Immigration: An introduction to immigrating to Australia

If the applicant has vocational skills recognized by Australia, required business or vocational skills, or has outstanding talents, he or she can apply for the following categories of immigrants:

Independent skilled immigrants. Applicants must pass skill, age, and English proficiency score tests;

Skilled immigrants related to Australians. Have relatives (parents, children, siblings, nephews, nieces, nephews) in Australia and have skills. Applicants must pass skills, age, language proficiency, relationship with the sponsor, citizenship of the sponsor, settlement support provided by the sponsor and points scored for the sponsor's residence in Australia;

Business Skilled Immigration. Applicants must have business or investment experience and must be business owners, partners, or senior executives of large companies with recent successful operations or large investments. Have a business or investment in Australia (own a large amount of equity);

Employer nominates skilled immigrants. Applications are nominated by employers who are unable to find or train workers in Australia;

Labor Agreement Skilled Migration. Applicants with skills, qualifications and work experience consistent with the positions specified in the labor agreement shall apply through nomination by the Australian employer or organization that signed the labor agreement;

Special Talent Skilled Migration. Applicants who have achieved outstanding achievements in the fields of occupation, art, and sports can apply for this type of immigration. Applicants need to demonstrate that they will be an asset to Australian society.

Score standards for independent skilled immigrants:

A. Occupational requirements in Australia:

1. Technical certificate/degree/diploma (can be recognized) , have at least three years of work experience after obtaining the qualifications, and be included in the "Priority Occupation List" can get 80 points;

35-39 years old: 15 points ;

10 points for 40-44 years old;

5 points for 45-49 years old;

0 points for those under 18 years old or over 50 years old

20 points for being able to communicate fluently in English on a series of occasions;

Four items of reading, speaking, understanding or writing 15 points for fluency in three items; 10 points for being able to communicate on daily life topics in fluent English; 10 points for being able to communicate on familiar daily topics in English or at least being able to speak both countries fluently Language (excluding English) 5 points;

Only familiar with some common English words or phrases 0 points;

Obtained 110 points in the above 3 factors Passed; score 100 points and will be placed on the list for consideration.

Points standards for skilled immigrants who are related to Australians (preferential family)

A. Occupations in Australia require:

1. Technical certificate/degree / Graduation diploma (can be recognized), with at least three years of work experience after obtaining qualifications, and being included in the "priority occupation list" can get 80 points;

8. 25 points for graduating from high school;

9. 0 points for less than 10 years of education;

If the applicant’s usual occupation is a doctor, technical points will be deducted 25 points;

B. Age points

18-29 years old 30 points;

30-34 years old 25 points;

35 - 15 points for 39 years old;

10 points for 40 - 44 years old;

5 points for 45 - 49 years old;

0 points for those under 18 years old or over 50 years old

C. Relationship factor points

If the guarantor is yours:

----Parents 15 points;

----10 points for brothers, sisters or children who have lived independently;

----5 points for nieces, nephews, nieces or nephews;

D. Citizenship factor points

If the guarantor is:

----Australian citizen for five years or more, 10 points;

----Less than five years 5 points for Australian citizens;

 

E. Settlement factors:

If your guarantor has lived in Australia for two consecutive years and has a continuous occupation of 10 points;

If your guarantor has received a total of *** in the past two years If you have received unemployment or special relief benefits for more than 4 weeks, or any social security payment except old age pension, veterans' allowance, and family allowance, the score is 0.

F. Residence area factor

If your sponsor has lived in a state or territory in the past two years, 5 points;

Above A score of 95 out of 6 factors is considered qualified, and a score of 90 will be placed on the list to be considered.
