Population migration of British Canadians

Scots poured into Canada in three waves, and the latter wave pushed the previous one, and the latter wave surpassed the previous one in scale. The first wave occurred in 1763- 18 15 and the second wave occurred in 18 15- 1870. The third wave of Scots continued to flood into Canada during the period of 1870- 1930. Scottish immigrants call Nova Scotia their hometown, and like the English, they are part of the "King of the United Kingdom". They came to Nova Scotia in the late 1980s in 18. Most Welsh people came to Canada in the 20th century.

As one of the "founding nations" in Canada, British Canadians have occupied many positions of power since they settled in this country. Except Quebec, British Canadians have formed a dominant culture throughout Canada. Many new immigrants and aborigines have to adapt to the culture of "British Canadians". British Canadians have made great achievements at all levels of society, including government, science, education, medicine, law, farms and mining areas.
