Construction time of Zhexi hydropower station

/kloc-0 started construction in July, 1958;/kloc-0 started the first unit to generate electricity in June, 1962;/kloc-0 started all six units in July, 1975. The dam site is a V-shaped valley with steep banks and a water surface width of 90 ~ 1 10m. The strike of the rock stratum is nearly perpendicular to the river and tends to the lower reaches of the river valley, with an inclination angle of 60 ~ 65. The bedrock is micro-metamorphic pre-Sinian fine sandstone, feldspar quartz sandstone and plywood. The lithology is dense and hard, and the leakage is weak. The basic earthquake intensity in the dam site area is less than 6 degrees.
