During World War II, many China people immigrated to Thailand to avoid the war. With the unique hard-working spirit of China people, they made a fortune and took root in this land of Siam. Although they have learned Thai and hired local people, they still maintain the traditional life in China. Gan Jiao, a girl from northern Thailand who just graduated from school, still wears a school uniform and wears two braids, entered Qin Su's old master's house, a wealthy and conservative China family, in the early morning of Dragon Boat Festival. Her dream is to wear an orange blossom crown for her beloved at her wedding, but this dream will never come true, because she will become the fourth aunt of Master Qin.

In this feudal family, there are a cruel old man, a jealous first wife, a smiling tiger second wife and a third wife from a theatrical background, and Gan Jiao is inevitably involved in the cruel struggle for favor among the concubines. In this dark day, the only light in her life is Qin Kongke, the gentleman she silently loves. Can this relationship, which is unacceptable to the world, have a good end?
