Can I apply for a visa to Laos with a Myanmar passport now?

Recently, regulations have been promulgated to simplify visa application procedures for tourists from neighboring countries in order to attract more tourists from neighboring countries to visit Laos.

According to the regulations, tourists from China, Thailand, Viet Nam, Myanmar and Cambodia can only enter Laos with passports or passes. The scope of application of this regulation includes: free travellers can travel to areas stipulated in relevant agreements between the two countries; Tourists who follow the Laos Tourism Company can go to the area specified by the service project of the tourism company and must obtain the permission of the relevant departments; Visitors entering and leaving Laos need to enter and leave through the officially designated gate; Travel companies need to report to relevant departments to ensure the safety of tourists.
