Why does India like to compare with the United States and China from top to bottom?

In recent years, Indians have frequently broken the professional ceiling of the western workplace and entered the highest level of the company. For example, the current CEOs of Google and Microsoft are all Indians. This phenomenon has attracted a lot of people's attention and discussion in China, because compared with Indians, the status of China people in foreign companies seems to be not as high as that of Indians, and the glass ceiling has not been broken. Why is this?

The reasons for this phenomenon are: 1, overseas Indians have the advantage of English; 2. Overseas Indians are more extroverted than overseas Chinese; Indians are more likely to get together than China.

Do overseas-born Chinese agree with these reasons?

We talked with five people who have been studying and working in America for a long time. Among them, four were born in the United States, China people who immigrated to the United States with their parents in kindergarten, primary school and junior high school, and one Eastern European who immigrated to the United States at the age of 8. These five people are successful examples of education in the traditional sense. Three of them graduated from the American Ivy League University. One of them holds a bachelor's degree from Yale University and a doctorate from Harvard University. They are all 30-40 years old. Their industries now include hedge funds, law, academics, blockchain and so on.

They have all experienced basic education, higher education and workplace in the United States, and their experience of American society is much more profound than that of China people who went to work, study and travel in the United States as adults. Their views are obviously different from those of most people in China.

The interview is not limited to the superficial differences between Indians and China people, but tries to understand the social system and cultural differences reflected by superficial phenomena.

The purpose of writing this article is to put forward an opinion that is not often heard, because more and more China children go to the United States to study at an early age. But most parents themselves have no experience of growing up in American society, so it is very necessary to think and make a decision after listening to different opinions.
