My husband is English. Can I get a visa to live in England?
In addition to the above, the overseas office also handles ordinary business passports and entry transit visas for some overseas students who still need business passports; Handling exit cards for visa-free personnel or visa-on-arrival personnel; Handling entry and transit visas for overseas delegations of the Ministry of Education; Booking and purchasing air tickets for all kinds of international students, handling dispatch procedures, and notifying China embassies and consulates abroad of the dates of international students and other related matters. Over the years, my rigorous and standardized work has won a good reputation in various embassies in China, ensuring that tens of thousands of international students successfully complete their study plans. In addition, the center also has an apartment for international students. As long as international students make an appointment at the service desk of the apartment and pay the corresponding fees, the center can send a car to the airport to provide one-stop service.
The second question: I want to know about the process before and after studying abroad and the problems that should be paid attention to. Do you have any reference materials?
A: We have fully considered your needs and feelings, and compiled a book "Notes for Overseas Students in Public Schools" (hereinafter referred to as "Notes"), which was compiled by the comrades in charge of the project in our office in combination with many years of experience in handling cases. It includes the procedures for overseas students to study abroad, the materials required for visa applications in various countries, the requirements and time required by embassies, and the requirements and precautions for going abroad compiled by the Education Department (Group) of China's embassies and consulates abroad. Book in hand, plan in mind. Each volume only accepts 5 yuan, and every case-handling person can buy it.
Question 3: What materials does the overseas study service center need to apply for going abroad?
A: The materials to be submitted are:
1 I have a valid ordinary passport for personal reasons (with two class A exit cards attached);
2 JW- 108 table 4; Those who already have a business passport must hold a political approval or re-exit certificate and a letter of introduction from the unit;
3. The other party's invitation letter (the person admitted by the National Scholarship Fund Committee must also provide a copy of the invitation letter approved by the unit and stamped with the official seal);
Other materials required by the embassy in China, such as various notarial certificates, physical examination forms, financial guarantees provided by the unit, etc. (different countries, see the instructions for specific requirements).
If it is really necessary for public students studying abroad to apply for an ordinary passport or hold an ordinary passport on business, they need to provide political examination documents, and units and local public students need to provide political examination documents and mission documents for going abroad.
Question 4: There is still a gap between the materials in my hand and the requirements of the invitation letter and instructions, but the inviter said that this is enough. Can I apply?
A: The requirements written in the notice are put forward according to the regulations of embassies in China. The embassy will not accept invitations with insufficient materials and unqualified requirements. The inviter's statement is groundless. There is a simple reason. Whether a visa is signed or not depends on the embassy and the domestic visa examination and issuance institutions of relevant countries. Some inviters are not clear about this.
Question 5: My schedule is very tight. How can I get a visa as soon as possible? Can you invite someone or yourself to the embassy?
A: Visa reflects the sovereignty of a country, and all countries have strict and specific procedures for this. At present, Japanese students who apply for visas to the United States and China in major countries where people are concentrated can get visas quickly as long as the materials are qualified and complete (the specific time and arrangement are introduced in the remarks). Most other countries' embassies abroad have no right to issue them directly, and they need the approval of the domestic visa examination and approval department (usually the immigration or immigration administration department of the judicial department). Therefore, the key to the speed of visa and whether to endorse it is not the embassy in China. It is useless to ask others or yourself often. If the staff of the embassy are disgusted, the effect is counterproductive. A more feasible way is to contact the inviter after the materials are sent to the embassy for a period of time (generally speaking, two weeks after the application is submitted by our office), so that they can contact the domestic visa examination department for confirmation and urge the department to reply to the embassy in China.
Of course, the issuance of visas is often influenced by many factors, such as the transfer and handover of relevant personnel in the embassy, the application time (during the summer vacation, the embassy accepts the most visa applications, so it is also the slowest), the work style of case handlers, and even state relations. At the same time, the requirements of the embassy for visa materials often change, and sometimes special requirements are put forward for specific individuals. In this case, the issuance time of visas will be affected to varying degrees. Therefore, the issuance time of visas in various countries is only generally speaking, specific to each individual, long or short. If the applicant's visa exceeds the standard, we will take the initiative to contact the embassy and take corresponding measures. So during the normal visa application period, we don't want you to call us frequently to ask questions. Please understand.
Question 6: I applied for a visa at the embassy myself and was rejected. I want to apply to the embassy again through you. I wonder if it's possible.
A: I'm terribly sorry. Although we sympathize with your experience and regret that you can't keep the appointment on time, it is still difficult for us to accept your application. Because when the embassy refused the visa, they not only marked the passport, but also kept the computer records in the embassy. If we send the rejected materials to the embassy, once they are discovered, it will greatly affect the reputation of our center, bring trouble to our future work and harm the interests of the majority of international students. However, we will take measures and try our best to solve the problem for those whose visas sent to the embassy by our office are refused.
Question 7: I am a visiting scholar sent by the state, and the other party invited someone to accompany her family. Can I apply for their visa here?
The clients of our firm are all kinds of international students. As a national visiting scholar, we will go through the formalities of going abroad, but we cannot accept your family application. Moreover, as far as we know, for visiting scholars who have been abroad for less than one year, the Education Commission does not advocate or allow them to bring their families with them, because everyone's time and funds are limited.
Question 8: Do you book and buy air tickets for international students in institutions and local institutions? It is said that you can take more luggage with the ticket stamped with the official seal of the study abroad service center. Is it true?/You don't say. Can I stamp the ticket I ordered elsewhere?
A: As mentioned above, the center provides one-stop service for international students, including air tickets. You are welcome to go through the ticket formalities here. Booking tickets in our office has at least the following advantages:
1 Go through the formalities smoothly. When you apply for a visa, you can book a plane ticket. When you come to apply for a visa, you can get the ticket at the same time, which saves you a lot of trouble.
At any time, the framework is guaranteed;
3 the cheapest price;
You can book the most economical joint flight ticket for any country in the world;
Most importantly, as you mentioned, our center has reached an agreement with China Civil Aviation. Anyone who has gone through the formalities of going abroad through our center and booked a ticket to take an Air China plane can check 30 kilograms (generally 20 kilograms) of random luggage for free with the official seal of our study abroad service center stamped on the ticket. The China-US-Canada route can carry 64 kilograms.
Therefore, we believe that it is the best choice for overseas personnel sent by the company and the local government to go through the air ticket formalities at our office. For those who don't go through the formalities in our office, we can't provide this service, because as mentioned above, the most basic condition of our agreement with civil aviation is the overseas students sent by our office, and we must abide by the agreement.
Question 9: Do you want to know the charges for the formalities?
A: At present, the fees charged by our office are:
1 Passport fee, only for those who apply for passports here;
Visa application fees are collected by embassies of various countries, and all personnel must pay except those sent by the state and paid by the center; Visa fees vary from country to country and vary with exchange rate fluctuations. Because of finance technology, our office is adjusted once every quarter.
3 handling fee, our center is a non-profit paid service organization with legal person qualification, and the corresponding fees should be charged when going through the formalities in our center. The fees charged by our office are the lowest prices approved by the Price Bureau and the Finance Department of the Education Commission.
Question 10: What is the general procedure for going through the formalities here?
A: The applicant holds all kinds of materials for applying for a visa and submits the application to the staff of the country in charge of our office (Room 32 1 U.S.A. and Room 325, Asia-Africa). I fill in the standard sample form provided here (the sample form is in room 3 18) and give it to the case handlers. After the case-handling personnel check and log in, the on-site personnel will deliver it to the embassy in China.
After signing the visa, the case-handling personnel check whether the visa is a valid visa, go through the registration formalities, and then transfer it to the case-handling personnel assigned by the supervisor (Room 323), who will order the air tickets according to the timetable for international students filled out by the applicant and inform the applicant to go through the formalities here. Therefore, as long as public students apply in our office, they can generally wait for visas in China.
Question 1 1: How long is the validity of the first visa obtained from the Chinese embassy?
A: Every country is different. Most of them get one-time entry visas, which are valid for three months or half a year. Such a visa can only go abroad within the validity period. According to the invitation, there is plenty of time to enter the country within this time; Individual countries issue residence visas, and the time spent abroad is counted from the effective date.
Question 12: What documents do I need to submit to get my passport and visa?
A: There are differences due to different transmission channels, as follows:
1 accepted by the national scholarship fund Committee: show the original deposit certificate; The original notarized agreement on studying abroad; Official letter from the personnel or foreign affairs department of the unit;
2. Official letter from the personnel or foreign affairs department of the overseas student's unit;
3. The entrusted agents of ministries and local governments shall present the Visa Acceptance Certificate issued by our bureau;
4. Entrust passport and visa, with my power of attorney and the letter of introduction from our unit, indicate the name of the agent, and the agent carries my ID card. Because of many procedures, students studying in this state generally need to go through them in person.
