Pinglu Fenghuang Ancient City was built in Chenghua 17 in Ming Dynasty, and it is one of the important military towns in ancient times. Pinglu District invested heavily to build a famous cultural tourism town in Saibei, which was listed as one of the 2 1 "characteristic livable" demonstration towns in the province by the provincial government. The Party Committee and Government of fenghuang town seized this opportunity of upgrading, and established the development idea of "tourism breakthrough, processing as the foundation, trade support, protection of the southern ancient city, expansion of the western new district, Dongxing industry" according to the planning requirements of 100 towns and the construction standards of demonstration towns, and comprehensively rolled out the construction of "one town and three districts", that is, around the ancient city tourism, upgrading and expanding three traditional industries, such as processing, commerce and agriculture. In order to improve the taste of the ancient city, the town integrates the transformation of the old city, the relocation of immigrants and the transformation of dangerous houses, and promotes the construction of demonstration towns as a whole. * * * Retrofitting 72 old houses facing the street in the Fourth Street of Gucheng, covering an area of more than 8,300 square meters. At the same time, the town spent 42.06 million yuan on water supply and drainage projects, central heating projects, street hardening, pavement laying, town public parking lots, central kindergartens and other infrastructure construction. It has built four superior agricultural product planting bases with a total area of more than 70,000 mu, such as potatoes, buckwheat and naked oats, and carried out contiguous planting of 2,000 mu of flax varieties in Phoenix and Kevin Cheng. Use the old site of the relocation village and idle land to develop family pastures, and build 52 family pastures, with 50 pigs and cows and more than 200 sheep. At the same time, the town also rolled out the fine ecological greening project from Liujiayao to Zhoujiazhuang, returning farmland to forest10.2 million mu, covering an area of 56,000 mu.
