What are the Tianshui Reservoir?

Guan Xia Reservoir in Qinzhou District of Tianshui City is one of the 14 small reservoir projects listed by Gansu Provincial Water Resources Department in the Implementation Plan of National Drought Relief Planning (20 14-20 16), which is located in Guan Xia Village, Damen Town, Qinzhou District. 20 16 On July 25th, Gansu Provincial Water Resources Department approved the Preliminary Design Report of Guan Xia Reservoir Project in Qinzhou District, Tianshui City, Gansu Province with Gansu Water Regulation Ji Fa [2016]18/. The total storage capacity of the reservoir is 2.7 million cubic meters, the storage capacity of Li Xing is 1, 7 1.54 million cubic meters, and the annual water supply is 1 .20 million cubic meters, which is a Grade IV small (1) project. The project hub consists of asphalt concrete core gravel dam, diversion spillway tunnel, spillway and water conveyance structure. The dam height is 31.88m, the crest length is147.97m, and the crest width is 6m.

Guan Xia Reservoir is a key water conservancy project for people's livelihood in Qinzhou District, and it is also the basic project for accurately helping the poor and building a well-off society in an all-round way in the southwest of our region. After the project is completed, it can meet the water demand of 9,600 people and livestock in five administrative villages of Tianshui Town, including Tianshui Village, Miaoping Village, Li Jiao Village, Xinggou Village and Puhou Village, and provide emergency water supply for 26 administrative villages of Tianshui Town and the water supply area of southern rural drinking water safety project134,700 people and livestock in dry years. It can not only improve the regional water supply capacity, alleviate the contradiction between regional socio-economic development and water shortage, but also promote the development of tourism in towns and villages such as Damen, which is of great significance to revitalizing regional economy, promoting regional industrialization and urbanization, and building a well-off society in an all-round way.
