The town has jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages, 1 neighborhood committee and 55 villagers' groups. There are Shaanxi University of Science and Technology North Campus, the living quarters of the Third Hydropower Bureau, Shimen Reservoir Management Bureau, "1 10" substation, Mianxian No.4 Middle School and other Chinese, provincial and municipal units in the town. The total population of the town is nearly 25,000, including agricultural population 1.3 million, more than 9,000 college teachers and students, and more than 2,000 employees of the Third Bureau. Liancheng Mountain Temple, Si Xia Temple, City God Temple, Jitouguan Temple, Sanqing Hall, Pan Qi Road, Li Anyun Plank Road, Stone Cliff Carvings in Shihu, etc. all have cultural relics protection sites.
