What are the similarities between Zhanjiang dialect and Chaoshan dialect and Minnan dialect?

It is not called "Zhanjiang dialect", but called "Leizhou dialect" academically and commonly known as "Li dialect" among the people.

Zhanjiang is a newly formed city, and there are many immigrants from Guangdong, so Cantonese is the main language in Zhanjiang.

Leizhou dialect was distributed in Mazhang District/Suixi County/Leizhou City/xuwen county, and was under the jurisdiction of Leizhou Prefecture in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Most of the ancestors of the residents in this area migrated from the coastal area of Putian in southeast Fujian during the Song and Yuan Dynasties. So "Leizhou dialect" is related to Minnan dialect/Chaozhou dialect.

Zhanjiang local language: The origin and distribution of Zhanjiang dialect are related to the origin of local population. In ancient times, the aborigines around Zhanjiang River were all ethnic minorities, and all of them spoke minority languages. During the Tang, Song, Yuan and Ming Dynasties, a large number of Han people moved to Leizhou Peninsula from Putian and Zhangzhou, Fujian Province, bringing Fujian dialect which had already formed, and later developed into a branch with the largest number of local residents. Because of its large population, Min dialect has become the most common language on Leizhou Peninsula. Almost at the same time that Min dialect was introduced into Leizhou Peninsula, Cantonese, which had already been formed in Xijiang area, also began to be introduced into this city, with Lu Mei, Wuchuan, Lianjiang and other places introduced earlier.
