Please list some serious disasters caused by the destruction of tropical rainforests and put forward some protective measures.

Forest destruction (1) Environmental problems caused by forest destruction: global climate imbalance, deterioration of ecological environment, frequent natural disasters and sharp decline of biodiversity. (2) The decreasing trend of forest area in the world is still going on, especially a large area of tropical rain forest is being destroyed. Protective measures (1) encourage protective development methods, such as rainforest sightseeing and eco-tourism; (2) Strengthen the management and protection of rainforests and establish nature reserves; (3) Strengthen environmental education and raise citizens' awareness of environmental protection; (4) setting up an international fund to benefit local management and protection; (5) Combination of selective cutting and afforestation; (6) Strengthen the construction of rain forest buffer zone to reduce the opportunities for immigrants and farmers to enter the rain forest zone. The whole international community should be responsible for protecting the rainforest, especially the developed countries should bear more responsibilities.
