Immigrating to Japan is actually applying for permanent residence in Japan.

Conditions for applying for permanent residence in Japan

1. Have lived in Japan continuously for more than 10 years.

"Continuous" here means leaving the country without re-entry procedures. Once the visa expires after returning to China, the number of years spent in Japan in the past will not be added.

In addition, foreign students or their families who apply for permanent residence alone need to stay in history for more than 5 years after their visas are converted into work visas.

However, if a Japanese spouse asks for three years' residence after marriage. The requirements for the number of years of residence are quite loose.

The condition of the fixed number of years is that the applicant for permanent residence can adapt to life in Japan during this period and maintain his life as a member of Japanese local society in Japanese society. If the spouse is Japanese, it is considered that the time limit can be appropriately shortened.

The residence qualification time at the time of application requires the applicant to hold a visa for the longest period (generally 3 years). This is because from this point, we can judge whether the applicant's residence status is stable and whether there is a continuous surname.

2. Have enough assets or skills to make a living.

This condition is an assessment of whether the applicant has the ability to maintain his life in Japan or has the skills to ensure his income in Japan. If it is a Japanese spouse, because the husband and wife have the obligation to support, the financial ability of the spouse will be used as the judgment material.

3. Good quality

If you have a history of criminal offences, traffic violations, illegal detention and other violations of Japanese laws, you will not be considered as an excellent foreigner to carry out free economic and social activities in Japan. If you have committed the above-mentioned illegal acts in the past, you need to accumulate a good life period that can be regarded as past acts. In addition, if you want to be recognized as a kind citizen living in Japan, you need to receive income and fulfill your tax obligations like Japanese nationals.

The Minister of Justice ruled that the applicant's stay was beneficial to the public interest of Japan.

The qualification for permanent residence is not a qualification that applicants must recognize, but is determined at the discretion of the Minister of Justice (free judgment). The applicant's economic and social activities are required to be beneficial to Japanese society. Japanese spouses can be considered beneficial to Japanese family life. As a convenient condition for obtaining permanent residency, marrying a Japanese cannot be said to be beneficial to family life.

The applicant is not required to be a legal infectious disease or a patient poisoned by drugs or stimulants (with a doctor's diagnosis certificate).

With the above conditions, although it can be judged that the permit conditions are met, it does not mean that the permanent residence qualification will definitely be recognized. In addition to these requirements, the living conditions and activities of each applicant will be reviewed. Finally, if the Minister of Justice judges that it is no problem to live permanently in Japan as a kind foreigner, he can obtain permanent residence qualification. Therefore, it is understandable that the examination time required for permanent residence qualification is longer than other work visas.

Then buy a house in Japan:

There are probably two kinds of houses in Japan.

One is called a single family. Is to buy your own land, and then find a real estate company to help you design and manufacture a set. The other is a common building in China. Although land is also privately owned for life, all residents have ownership. If it is no longer in the center of Tokyo, it can be bought for about 36 million yuan. It should be noted that there is no so-called auction for Japanese to sell houses. Of course, you have to pay the property management fee. Selling a house is not based on the area, but on the whole price. The area written on the leaflet is only the usable area.
