What are the requirements for emigrating to Laos?

According to the official website of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Embassy of China in the Lao People's Democratic Republic, Article 14 of the Lao Nationality Law: To apply for Lao nationality, an applicant must meet the following conditions:

At least 18 years old when applying for Lao nationality;

(2) Being able to speak, read and write Lao;

(3) There is evidence to prove that he is integrated into the Lao cultural society and respects the good customs of Laos;

(4) physical and mental health;

(5) Having no criminal record;

(6) Willing to give up the original nationality;

(7) Having lived in Laos continuously for more than 65,438+00 years before applying for Lao nationality.

Persons who meet the above conditions may apply for naturalization to the Ministry of Justice of Laos after applying for withdrawal from the embassy or consulate of China in that country, and the application shall be examined and approved by the Standing Committee of the Lao National Assembly.
