Reflections on learning Japanese culture

Japan is a country with a long cultural history. If we want to understand Japan, we should not only learn the Japanese language, but also fully understand Japan by personally feeling its own culture. It is a special honor to attend this Japanese cultural experience course, which can be said to be the most interesting and vivid course I have attended in my four years in college.

First of all, I would like to thank Mr. Wang and Mr. Kitamura from Japan for preaching and giving lessons to solve our doubts, and organizing in-depth Japanese cultural experience projects for many times, so that we can do it ourselves, experience or practice, which has benefited me a lot and further enhanced my understanding and love for Japanese culture.

No matter how frequent and far-reaching the cultural exchanges between Japan and China are in history, the development of Japanese culture has many characteristics since ancient times, many of which are different from those of China and the West. There are many seemingly contradictory phenomena in the formation and development of Japanese culture (including sex culture).

But they are harmoniously combined to form a unique East Asian culture, which can be said to be rare in the world. Therefore, American philosopher Moore believes that Japanese culture is "the most mysterious and bizarre of all great traditions".
